Hi friends! Greetings from Washington DC where Hurricane Sandy is literally making landfall as I speak. We have a fire running, dinner in the crockpot, bottles of water, and a stash of non-perishables in case we lose power. (and yes, plenty of booze....)
I am glued to the TV watching Weather Channel coverage--secretly, I an green with envy when I watch those people blowing in the wind in the middle of a hurricane--I wish that was my job! (Yes, I realize that makes me sound crazy)
Hope all my East Coast followers are staying safe as Sandy makes her landfall :) As long as I have power, I will post again tomorrow!
